Liverpool is a great place to learn to drive because your driving lessons will take you on a wide variety of roads from the quiet back streets to the busy roads such as Menlove Avenue, Queens Drive and the East Lancashire Road. This variety will prepare you well not only for your driving test but to drive with confidence anywhere in the country. Driving lessons in Liverpool are always interesting because there are so many different things that we can teach you.
All our driving instructors in Liverpool are from Liverpool so they know the areas very well and can offer weekly driving lessons, or an intensive course of driving lessons for people who need to pass their driving test more quickly.
Liverpool has two driving test centres. One is based in Garston and one in Norris Green so the two driving test centres cover different areas:
- from Garston you may find yourself in Allerton, Halewood, Mossley Hill or Woolton
- from Norris Green you may find yourself in Anfield, Walton, Bootle, West Derby or Childwall
When you pass your driving test, you can also do the Pass Plus course. Liverpool has a great network of roads coming into the city so you may want to try driving on the M62, M57 or M58 or perhaps through the Mersey Tunnels. The Pass Plus course is designed to give you more experience when you pass your driving test and it may also help to lower your car insurance.
