The Wirral has so many fantastic places to visit, but without a car, many can be difficult to get to. Learning to drive means that you could access Ness Gardens in Neston, the beaches at West Kirby, Hoylake, Moreton or New Brighton, Cheshire Oaks in Ellesmere Port or Port Sunlight, (or just Sainsburys in Upton!).
Learning to drive on the Wirral provides an excellent foundation for your driving skills, offering plenty of rural roads in and around Neston, Bromborough, Spital, West Kirby and Heswall, as well as teaching you to cope with Birkenhead’s bus lanes, the many stop signs in Wallasey, the busy roundabouts at Moreton Cross, and the double roundabout in Higher Bebington.
The Wirral has 2 driving test centres and your driving lessons will help you gain experience on the roads you’re likely to be on during your driving test, to help give you the best chance of passing first time. If you take your driving test at the Wallasey driving test centre, you are likely to drive in areas such as Wallasey, New Brighton, Liscard and Birkenhead. If you decide to take your driving test in Upton, (often called the Birkenhead Driving Test Centre), you could see yourself in Hoylake, Leasowe, Birkenhead, Oxton, Caldy, Bebington or Bidston.
Whether you want weekly driving lessons, or an intensive course, getting a full driving licence will make such a difference to your life, and the skills you’ll learn on with A2Z of Motoring will help keep you safe once you venture out on the roads of the Wirral without those L plates.
