Llanelli is well known for its passionate rugby supporters of the famous “Scarlets”, now known as the “Llanelli Scarlets”, and A2Z of Motoring driving instructors are equally as passionate about the driving lessons they conduct. If you learn to drive in Llanelli, you’ll be learning in a historic town, and sharing a proud heritage, and not just of a sporting kind!
Driving lessons conducted in Llanelli will have their driving tests booked from the Toft Place test centre, which has remained at that same address for over 30 years. Your own parents might well have passed their own driving tests there, (possibly with an A2Z instructor), and our current local A2Z driving instructors continue to offer door to door pick up and drop off around all the local areas, including Bynea, Pwll, Swiss Valley, Dafen and Llwynhendy.
Llanelli has many small and narrow one-way streets, perfect for learning to drive, as well as large multiple roundabouts, such as Trostre roundabout, which leads on to the Morrisons roundabout, whilst the test routes covering most of Llanelli Town extend as far out as Bynea, Cwmbach, Felinfoel and Llangennech.
While Llanelli does have national speed limit roads on its outskirts, most of the driving in preparation for a driving test would involve smaller back streets, with closely parked cars on both sides of the road, and lots on mini roundabouts, as well as the double mini roundabout at the end of Queen Victoria Road slap-bang in the Town Centre.
A2Z instructors will be happy to offer regular weekly driving lessons, or a “Crash Driving Course” if you need to pass in hurry, or we’ll even put together a “Semi Intensive” course if you don’t want the extra pressure of a large number of driving lessons every single day .
